Students who have been diagnosed as having any verifiable disability are NOT required to disclose their information to anyone at Dana College. However, if students with disabilities will need special accommodations for one or more of their classes, they must meet with the Director of Disability Services to disclose and to discuss their needs. A student must provide the Director with documentation materials that verify the diagnosis of the disability and that support the student’s request for accommodations. These documentation materials must be from a qualified professional, such as a school psychologist. For more information about course accommodations, contact the Director of Disability Services. Students with disabilities who require residential accommodations should contact the Dean of Students.
