Financing Your Education
A college education is clearly one of the most significant investments you are likely to make in your lifetime. The staff in Dana College's Student Financial Services Office is committed to work with you to make a Dana College education as affordable as possible.
In fact, Dana College may be much more affordable than you think. That’s because Dana awards a generous range of scholarships and grants. There are employment opportunities, loans and payment programs to lower the burden of college costs on every family. Last year alone, we awarded more than $6.43 million in Dana scholarships.
That you likely will complete your degree in only four years is another important factor that makes Dana affordable. Sixty-eight percent of Dana’s most recent graduates completed their degree in four years. Since the average college student in Nebraska takes 5-6 years to earn a degree, completing your studies in four years saves at least one or two years of college costs. Even better, it gives you two additional years of career earnings. Therefore, the Dana student who completes his or her degree in four years will see a minimum benefit of $50,000 in combined tuition savings and job income over the student who takes longer to graduate.
