Art is more than a class or a course of study. It's a way of life.
Whether you choose to major in Art, Art Education (K–12) or
iMedia, our faculty will work with you to achieve your creative and
career goals.
Learning and growth are not limited to the time spent
in class. Out-of-class time in the studios, whether during evenings,
odd hours or weekends,
is an important opportunity to develop skills while socializing
with other art students and faculty members. The casual environment
of
the art studio and computer lab provides a setting in which faculty
members are able to relate to students in a mentoring role.
The
Dana College Art Department features state-of-the-art facilities,
including a continuously updated Macintosh computer lab, spacious
studios, a fully equipped darkroom and a bronze foundry. All
facilities are open throughout the day and late into the night for
student
access.
