Baseball Inks First Recruit

Brett Kim, a utility player from Iowa City, IA, has signed a national letter of intent to play baseball at Dana College. Kim is a 5-9, 175-pounder who hits and throws from the right side. He will be a returning two-year starter at Iowa City Regina High School where he hit .408 with 11 doubles and 29 RBI in 33 games last summer for the Regals.

Join the newly established Omaha Dana Fan Club! This joint venture of the Dana College Athletic and Alumni Offices plans to bring together former Dana athletes to network and hear about the Vikings of today.

Three Vikings Named to All-Conference Team

The 2008 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Baseball All-Conference team has been announced after a vote of league coaches.  This year’s GPAC All-Conference Team consists of three Vikings who were selected to the Honorable Mention team.
