PITCHING
The basic fundamentals of pitching will be emphasized.  For more advanced pitchers, specialty pitches will be covered.  The mental aspect of pitching and pitcher/catcher relationships will be addressed throughout the clinic as well.  Pitchers that are coming alone must make sure they have someone to catch for them.  Video cameras are allowed.

CATCHING
The basic fundamentals of catching will be addressed during this clinic.  Footwork, blocking, framing, throwing downs, and pick offs will all be taught and fine-tuned.  There will be adequate one on one instruction from the catching staff with each individual during this time. Catchers will need to bring their own full set of catching gear and tennis shoes.

SOFTBALL SKILLS
Both defense and offense will be taught and refined. Topics covered will be hitting, bunting, base running, throwing, receiving, ground balls, fly balls, and other fundamental skills. There will be time spent on the mental part of the game as well.  Players will need to bring tennis shoes, a glove, a bat, a water bottle, sweatpants and a long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt (we will be working on sliding and diving fundamentals).

Camp Features

  • Spacious indoor facilities, including three gyms and an indoor hitting tunnel.
  • Instruction by Dana coaching staff and players.

Other Information

All campers should wear workout/softballball clothing, hats and tennis shoes. They should also bring their own gloves and their own bats.
