Application for the Biological Sciences Scholarship requires 1) completion of this form and 2) when you come to Dana College for a campus visit you will be asked to write a one-page essay on “Why are you interested in Biology.” You will be given the option of hand writing your essay or using a laptop computer. Biology faculty members will then review your essay, the science-related activities you listed on this application form, and your ACT score and GPA, to decide who will be awarded a Biological Sciences Scholarship. You will be informed by mail within two weeks of your campus visit as to your scholarship award amount.
