All of the majors in the Biology Department take a core group of courses, which includes:

• Introduction to Cell Biology and Genetics
• Introduction to Evolution, Ecology and Botany
• Introduction to Microbiology and Zoology
• Research Seminar
• Research in Biology/Environmental Studies
• General Chemistry I
• General Chemistry II
• General Chemistry II Laboratory

You'll also get to choose from several other Biology electives as well as classes in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.
