The Medical Arts major at Dana is designed for students who want
to enter the burgeoning medical technician fields like radiology,
nursing or nuclear medicine. Students earn a bachelor's degree from
Dana and certification from an approved program at a technical or
other school. Usually, Medical Arts majors spend three years at Dana
and at least one year at the technical school.
With both a bachelor's
degree and certification, Medical Arts graduates have the leg up
on the competition for jobs and can easily move into
management positions without further education.
