The amount awarded to individual students will be determined by the Biology Department faculty based on a short application and a one-page essay on “why you are interested in biology.”

The award is renewable for all four years contingent upon maintaining a 3.0 grade point average in Biology, participating in Science Club and a request from the student for renewal.
