Dana College is a private, coeducational, liberal arts college owned by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The campus is comprised of 18 buildings situated on 150 acres in the northwest corner of Blair, NE, a city of 7500. The campus community itself is comprised of about 775 students and employees.

At Dana College the safety and well being of all members of the campus community is of primary importance. Even though the college had been fortunate in not experiencing any major crimes in the past, we do not regard ourselves as being immune from such occurrences. We are subject to the same problems as society in general, thus making it necessary for all members of the Dana community to be informed, educated and protected, to the best of our ability.
