Dana's student organizations are so active and up-to-date, it's hard for us to keep up. The following is a listing of student organizations, but don't let this list stop you. Several organizations have been formed in just the last year. Contact the Student Life Office for more information on forming a group.

For those wishing to participate in regional and national Lutheran Student Movement activities


Music Organizations

Dana College VOICES

A choir that explores American music off all types as well as the music of other cultures, both western and nonwestern


General Interest Student Organizations

Ars Medica

For those interested in health science

Business Club

For students interested in a business career or in the world of business

Campus Conservatives

Formerly known as the College Republicans, this group is open to all students interested in raising awareness of political topics

Campus Crusade for Christ

An interdenominational ministry that provides spiritual resources to college students through weekly meetings, small groups, Bible studies, retreats and social activities

Christ in Action (CIA)

An interdenominational group, which seeks to promote and provide for the opportunity to express the community of faith within the college setting

Communication Club

An organization open to students who have an interest in communication or who are considering a career in the communication field

Criminal Justice Organization

For students majoring and interested in topics related to Criminal Justice

DVTV Television

Dana's cable television station

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)

For athletes and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving and serving Jesus Christ in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church

German Club

Everyone enrolled in German is automatically a member. All other students who have an interest in German and German culture are also invited to join. The purpose is to provide students with opportunities to experience the language and culture outside the classroom in a fun, social environment

H.O.P.E. (Helping Our People Expand)

This organization focuses on campus-wide unity, ethnic and racial pride, and cultural diversity

International Student Organization (ISO)

Open to all students who enjoy participating in cross-cultural activities and educational programs for the campus and surrounding community

KDCV Radio-FM

Voice of Dana College

Outreach

A student group whose primary focus will be outreach within the Dana community and to area churches

Psychologically Speaking

Open to all students with an interest in psychology

Residence Hall Assocation (RHA)

Represents all students living in the residence halls and provides programs and events for the campus community

Science Club

For students interested in science-related activities and careers

Social Awareness Organization (SAO)

For those interested in looking at social issues and ways of addressing them

Young Democrats

This group promotes awareness on campus of political issues that relate to the Democratic Party


Intramurals

Intramurals are offered throughout the year in individual, dual, and team sports. Intramurals and coordinated through the Athletic Office.
