Dana College prohibits the possession of firearms, hunting knives, bows and arrows, fireworks, weapons, or chemicals which are in any way harmful or explosive in nature. Possession of any of these items in vehicles parked on the campus is also prohibited.

As part of its commitment to attempting to create an environment that is free of alcohol and other drugs, Dana College prohibits the illegal manufacture, distribution, dispensation, possession or use of controlled substances, or any alcohol possession or use on college property or as part of any college activity. Full information on college policies and sanctions, as well as federal, state and local laws that regulate the possession, use and sale of alcohol and other drugs is distributed to all students and employees yearly.
