The College’s Security Department coordinates campus security. Security officers are on duty 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Security Officers do not have arrest powers, but have cellular phones which enable them to make immediate contact with the local police when needed. Security personnel are also trained in first aid, AED use and CPR.

The primary purpose of campus security is to prevent problems from occurring. Security officers lock buildings and re-check them several times during the evening. Security officers patrol the entire campus, being on the alert for potential problems and/or unsafe conditions. Security officers also enforce campus regulations.
