A study of the economic system as a whole. Major areas include national income
determination, employment, economic growth and monetary and fiscal policies.

A study of individual economic units. Major areas include consumers, businesses,
markets, the distribution of income, and international trade.

A study of governmental revenues, expenditures, debt policies, tax theory and
fiscal policies.
