It is recommended that students have health and medical insurance.
Health coverage is the full responsibility of the student and no
institutional insurance will be provided by the College. Dana College
maintains student accident policies for all full-time students during
the regular school year. Optional plans that include sickness and
major medical supplements can be purchased by students who wish more
complete coverage.
Students who wish to participate in intercollegiate athletics must
provide evidence of medical insurance before the first practice of
the sport. Such evidence may be with a valid certificate of family
coverage or a policy the student has purchased. The College provides
a deductible accident insurance plan for athletic participants as
secondary coverage.
