The Corporate Communication major equips students with the knowledge, skills and perspectives to work effectively in dynamic organizations. Courses focus on the communication situations faced by modern for-profit and non-profit organizations and the development of communication strategies to address those situations. For example, students in the Public Relations course learn the principles of effective crisis communication. Organizational Communication students learn techniques for managing conflict in the workplace.

With a major in Corporate Communication, you could pursue a career in public relations, training and development, marketing, advertising, sales or event planning. Optional emphasis areas in business, global commerce and media relations strengthen your credentials as a corporate communication specialist.
