The Dana College Communication Department offers scholarships of up to $5000 annually for students majoring in Communication. The amount awarded to individual students will be determined by the Communication Department faculty based on letters of recommendation, a 250-500 word essay describing what he/she will contribute to the Communication program at Dana College, and an interview with Communication faculty.

The award is renewable for all four years contingent upon maintaining a 3.0 grade point average in Communication (a minimum overall grade point average must also be attained) and submission of a written recommendation from a Communication faculty member.

Any student interested in learning more about the Communication Department Scholarship may contact Dr. Kate Joeckel, chair of the department, or their admissions counselor.
