Many Communication majors complete an internship, giving them something all employers are looking for — experience. Recently, Dana's Communication students have interned for such companies as WAITT Media/ESPN Radio, The Picture People, Boys and Girls Town, and the ELCA Department of Communications.

In a number of your Communication classes, you will apply your knowledge and build your resume by organizing special events, designing and directing service projects or by conducting your own research.

Our students also gain valuable experience on campus through our campus newspaper, radio station and television station. These experiences can be taken for course credit.
