Future jobs will require that people in law enforcement and corrections to have an excellent understanding of human motivation and dispute resolution.

Criminal Justice at Dana College stresses community-based approaches to law enforcement and corrections and emphasizes innovative approaches like restorative justice. You will complete courses in human behavior, cultural competence, conflict resolution, policy issues and prevention strategies.

As a graduate of Dana's Criminal Justice program, you will understand people, their motivations and how to deal with them. You will be able to see the big picture and help prevent crime, rather than just react to it.
