In May, Dana graduated the Class of 2005— one of our best. Here is what some of our Education graduates had to say about their time at Dana:

Janelle Barclay, a mathematics for secondary education major, chose Dana because of it well-known Education Department.

Sharae Bishop, an elementary education major, spent a Discovery Term teaching with a group of Dana education students on an American Indian Reservation.

Jenny Eccles, an elementary education and psychology major, says her favorite class was Introduction to Education because she learned real skills she'll use as a teacher.

Tina Hackett, an elementary education major with an emphasis in psychology, likes that Dana College makes sure its students start working in classrooms right away, rather than waiting until they are seniors.

Jess Holz, an English for secondary education and a Spanish for secondary education major, said one of her favorite Dana memories is traveling to Spain during Discovery Term to practice her language skills.

Gregory Towne, an elementary education major with an emphasis in art, thinks the best things about being a Dana student are the extracurricular activities and excellent job placement.

Carmen Woudstra, a chemistry and chemistry for secondary teachers major, chose to come to Dana for its personal attention and the ease with which she could transfer her credits.
