Dana College's Special Education Endorsement program is for certified teachers who want to increase their marketability or change careers. Dedicated and involved faculty, a highly regarded program and an excellent reputation for placement of our teachers all add up to the Dana difference — an education that enables you to take charge of your life and achieve your goals.

According to the American Association for Employment in Education, the overall teacher shortage of the 1990s is over but a major teacher shortage still exists in special education.

You can add a special education endorsement to your teaching credentials in as little as 15 months at Dana College. All classes are conveniently taught in the evenings during the school year and in three-week summer sessions.

Dana boasts a strong reputation in teacher education, holding continuous accreditation from the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) since 1963. The faculty at Dana College are committed to your success.
