Welcome to the Dana College Teacher Education Department. As one of the largest programs on campus, the Teacher Education Department prepares students who want to become elementary, special education or secondary teachers. Our teacher education department provides quality instruction, hands-on learning experiences and personalized advising and supervision. The Education faculty members expect students to become excellent teachers and work diligently to help them develop teaching knowledge and skills. The Dana College Teacher Education program is accredited by NCATE (National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education) and the Nebraska State Department of Education.
