Many of Dana's students choose to pursue an education major from our renowned Education program. Here are just a few of  our students:

 

Nicholas Albrecht, a music education major, says Dana has the feeling of a summer camp that lasts all year.

Rodney Brown, a social science for secondary education student, takes a break from being an honors student and trackster by going fishing at DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge.

 

Sara Buck, an elementary education major with an art emphasis, thinks Dana's environment is easier to learn and live in because everyone knows everyone.

Gina Edwards, an elementary education and special education major, says the most fun thing she's done since coming to Dana was being a participant on Student Activities' "The Dating Game."

Marcy Fergola, a social science for secondary education major, loves taking her young children to Dana's fairs and carnivals.

Tracy Glantz, an Art Education major, hopes to have her own art studio and teach classes in the afternoon.

 

Tabetha Holman, a psychology and secondary education major with a music minor, likes that Dana gives students so many interesting options, more than most other college students can try for.

Nick Kroon, a mathematics for secondary education major, said he likes how the professors at Dana really care about students.

 

Trent Leichleiter, an elementary education/special education major with an emphasis in physical education and an endorsement in coaching, finds all the elementary and special education classes enjoyable.

 

Tracie Ruwie, an elementary education/special education major, said her Introduction to Exceptional Children class showed her what she wanted to do with the rest of her life.

 

Chenel Sanders, an elementary education major with an emphasis in special education, came to Dana because everyone made her feel right at home.

 

Lisa Schneider, an elementary education and special education major, said she loved Public School Music class, even though she doesn't have a musical bone in her body.

Christina Ulmer, an elementary education/special education major, loves being able to participate in theater and music while getting a great education.

Kori Williamsen, a music education (combined endorsement) major, said she came to Dana because it was close to home and offered her everything she needed to complete her education.
