Special Education is one of the teaching careers most in demand by schools. Dana's Special Education majors have an extra boost behind them: Dana's well-known reputation for turning out the highest quality teachers. Through mentorship by our dedicated faculty and hands-on experience in real classrooms beginning as early as your freshman year, the Special Education major is a great choice for anyone who wants to shape the future of America's schools.

Dana College also offers a Special Education Endorsement program for certified teachers who want to increase their marketability or change careers. You can add a special education endorsement to your teaching credentials in as little as 15 months. All classes are conveniently taught in the evenings during the school year and in three-week summer sessions. For a downloadable brochure on this convenient program, click here.
