Position Overview

The Director of Residence Life provides leadership and direction for the Residence Life program. Reporting to and working closely with the Dean of Students, this position also shares leadership duties in the Student Life office. The Director of Residence Life will serve, in part, as a student affairs generalist working collaboratively with personnel in the areas within Student Life. This is a 12-month live-in position with additional Area Hall Director responsibilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required, Masters Degree preferred, in higher education, counseling, or a related field. The successful candidate will also have progressive leadership and supervisory experience in residence life, training and supervision of staff, experience in judicial affairs/conflict resolution, programming, community building and a strong commitment to the understanding and appreciation of a church-related, liberal arts college and the development of students.

Compensation includes competitive salary and benefits package (including health, dental, life insurance and generous retirement contribution), apartment and meal plan.
