Dana's English and Theater Department is home to a group of dedicated faculty united through a love of the English language and a devotion to mentoring students.

Our English classes prepare all of Dana's students to be well-versed communicators capable of critical thought and complex analysis of situations. Students learn through practice and participation with faculty and other students.

Dana College Theater is recognized as one of the area's most progressive college theaters. Several productions are put on throughout the year, some directed by students in Theater classes. Past performances have included "Into the Woods," "Soundbite" (an original play by Dana College Theater Director Dr. Paul Schneider), "The Apple Tree," "Grease," and "Seussical."
