* B.D., Makumira University College, Tanzania, 1990. Prior to joining Dana College in 2000, Dr. Ng’weshemi was an instructor at Olive-Harvey College in the city of Chicago and adjunct professor at McCormick Theological Seminary also in Chicago.
 
Research Interests:
Dr. Ng’weshemi’s research interests include a wide variety of topics in world Christianity, including Christian theologies in Latin America, Africa and South and South-East Asia.

His research projects have included published articles such as: “Doing Justice to Context: The Quest for a Christian Answer to the African Condition;” “Who am I? Who are We? Religious Conversion and the Identity Crisis;” “Rediscovering the Doctrine of Justification by Faith: Its Meaning, Relevance and Implications in Africa Today,” and “The Church and the Quest for Global Justice.”

His book entitled, Rediscovering the Human: The Quest for a Christo-Theological Anthropology in Africa was published by Peter Lang Publishers, Inc. in 2002.
