Professor Jennifer Rees completed her bachelor of science degree in special education at Southern Connecticut State University and her master of science degree in resource teaching and learning disabilities at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She has extensive teaching experience in Iowa and Nebraska. She also served as BLAST advisor for high school special education students at Iowa Western Community College. She has taught at Dana since 2007.
