Scholarships are available in the following areas:
All scholarship recipients are required to sign and return a Scholarship
Agreement Form prior to their initial enrollment.
Scholarship funds may be withheld from the student’s account
until this form is returned to the Financial Aid Office.
All fine art scholarships require an audition or portfolio review,
preferably by March 15th.
The size of the award is based upon the recommendation received
from the department.
Renewal Requirements
Theatre
To receive a Theatre scholarship a student must enroll in Acting
I in the Fall of their first year and maintain a 2.5 cumulative
GPA. Students must continue to participate in Theatre as described
in the Scholarship Agreement Form.
Art
Recipients of Art scholarships must:
- Declare a major in Art, Art Education, Graphic Design, or Elementary
Education (with a concentration in Art).
- Continue to demonstrate leadership within the Art Department
as determined by the Department Chair.
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA in all Art courses and a 2.0 cumulative
GPA.
Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, and Keyboard
Recipients of Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, and Keyboard must
continue to participate in the area as described in the Scholarship
Agreement Form. In addition, students must maintain a cumulative
GPA of 2.0.
