HOW DO I GET A CAMPUS JOB?

Step one: Be sure that you have Federal College Work Study listed on your financial aid award.  Students who are eligible for work study receive priority in the hiring process for all campus jobs.

Step two: Check the job listings in the drop-down menu below.  A paper copy of the job listings can also be found in the Business Office.

Step three: You can also print a Campus Employment Applications at this site.  Complete the top portion of the form.  You will need one application for each job you interview for. Click here to download Dana College Campus Employment Application. The Financial Aid Office also has these forms available or Sheila Coker can send you one through campus mail by request.

Step four: Contact the supervisor(s) of the job(s) that interest you and schedule your interviews.  Interviews should take place August 27 – September 7.  When you interview, be prepared to turn your Dana College Campus Employment Application in to the person who interviews you.  You should have your portion (the top half) completed prior to the interview.

Step five: Be sure that the Campus Employment Application is returned to Sheila Coker to secure your position. Your position will be listed until the form is on file.

Step six: If you have not previously had a job on campus, you will need to stop by the Business Office in Pioneer Memorial to fill out an I-9 form. Click here to download I-9. You will need to bring 1) your Social Security card or birth certificate, AND 2) your driver’s license, Dana ID card, OR your passport. If you do not have these forms of ID with you on campus, you can have them faxed to the Business Office at 402-426-7386. You will not receive your paycheck until this paper work is complete.
