Schlueter, Timm, Ketelsen Lead Vikings on
All-Conference Team
The 2007 Great Plains Athletic
Conference Football All-Conference Team was announced early this week.
Seven Vikings were selected by a vote of conference coaches.
Mark Schlueter
(FR, Omaha, NE) would be named as a first team wide
receiver. Schlueter led the GPAC with 79 receptions. He also ranked
second in total receiving yards with 956. Schlueter would be the lone
Viking on the first team.
Clayton Timm
(JR, Treynor, IA) would earn second team honors on the
offensive line. Teammate Trever Ketleson (SR, Bloomfield, NE)
would earn second team defensive honors.
Marcus Sladek
(JR, Omaha, NE), Andrew Hawley (FR, Lincoln, NE),
Kyle Peterson (SR, Blair, NE), Delano Allen (SO, Riviera
Beach, FL), Keith Neal (SR, Clarinda, IA), Alex Hook (SR,
Omaha, NE), Marcus Gorges (SO, Omaha, NE), Aaron Williams
(FR, Omaha, NE), Nate Weathers (SO, Omaha, NE), Robert Fowler
(JR, Bellevue, NE), and Terrance McLean (SR, San Antonio, TX)
received honorable mention honors for the Vikings.
The Vikings finish their season at 4-7 overall and 3-7 in GPAC play.
Coach Bill Danenhauer has completed his fifth season at the helm of the
Viking football program.
