Anderson to Join Viking Football

 BLAIR, NE – The Dana College Football announced Reggie Andersen has signed a national letter of intent to play football for the Vikings in 2008.  Andersen is a quarterback from Longmont High School in Longmont, Colorado.  

Andersen is a three-sport athlete at Longmont, but will play only football at Dana College.  Reggie is the son of Ted and Peni Andersen.

“Reggie is a top recruit from the Colorado area,” commented Head Coach Bill Danenhauer.  "He should be able to help us out at the quarterback position.  The football staff is very excited that Reggie has chosen Dana College to continue his academic and athletic career.”

The Vikings finished the 2008 season with a record of 4-7.  Dana College is a private, Lutheran college located in Blair, Nebraska.  They participate in the Great Plaines Athletic Conference and a member of the NAIA.  Dana College is a place where all students actively participate.
