Boyd to Join Viking FootballBLAIR, NE – The Dana College Football announced Tony Boyd has signed a national letter of intent to play for the Vikings in 2008. Boyd is a fullback at Bellevue East High School. During his high school career Boyd earned All-Metro and Honorable Mention All-State Honors. He is the son of Butch and Sharon Boyd. He plans to major in Physical Therapy during his career at Dana College. “Tony should be able to help us out at the fullback position,” commented Head Coach Bill Danenhauer. “We are very excited that Tony has chosen Dana College to continue his academic and athletic career.” The Vikings finished the 2007 season with a record of 4-7. Dana College is a private, Lutheran college located in Blair, Nebraska. They participate in the Great Plaines Athletic Conference and a member of the NAIA.
