Dana College is one of only 40 sites across the
country selected to host a traveling panel exhibit, “Alexander
Hamilton: The Man Who Made Modern America.” The exhibit
will appear in the C.A. Dana-LIFE Library from Aug. 24-Oct.
5, 2007.
The exhibit examines Hamilton’s central role during the Revolutionary
War and Founding period in creating the economic, constitutional, social, journalistic,
political and foreign policy templates for modern America.
It will be open to the public during regularly scheduled library hours: 1-10
p.m. Sundays; 8 a.m.-10 p.m., Monday-Thursday; 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays; closed
Saturdays.
The grand opening for the event will be Saturday,
August 25, featuring several speakers, a Hamilton impersonator
and other events. Watch for more details.
