At Dana College, the Department of History and Social Science encourages your love of the past while keeping your future in sight. Dana's history professors are available to you outside of class as counselors and mentors. They are not just caring and dedicated teachers, but will provide guidance and wisdom as you make decisions about academic choices, jobs and careers, and your own personal values and beliefs.

Dana offers a broad range of courses in American, European and Non-Western history. In a single semester, you can explore Spanish encounters with the New World or focus on America in the 1960s, study English constitutional developments or Chinese philosophy and culture.
