The Dana College Languages Department offers scholarships of up to $5,000 annually for students majoring in International Studies. The amount awarded to individual students will be determined based on an on-campus conversation with Language faculty, two recommendations by teachers or community leaders, ACT score and high school grade point average.

The International Studies scholarship is renewable for all four years contingent upon maintaining a 3.0 grade point average in major and minor courses (a minimum overall grade point average must also be attained), a major in International Studies and active participation in History Club or Campus Ministry.

Any student interested in learning more about this scholarship may contact Dr. Sybille Bartels, chair of the department, at 402-426-7276 or their admissions counselor.

The priority date for consideration of the top scholarship is March 1, 2007.
