The Spanish program prepares students for careers in teaching, business, social work, the ministry, foreign service and journalism. There are no specific requirements for admission to the program. Language ability will be assessed for placement and possible transcripting of prior knowledge in Spanish.

In addition to the regular course work in Spanish, students are encouraged to spend a Discovery Term in a Spanish-speaking country and a semester of their junior year studying abroad.
