The Spanish for Secondary Teachers major at Dana combines our great modern language education with our outstanding teacher preparation program. Majors study in one-on-one relationships with their professors, learning to work on the weaknesses and capitalize on their strengths.

Dana produces some of the best teachers in the region by focusing on learning through participation. Spanish for Secondary Teachers majors are encouraged to speak Spanish as much as possible and visit Spanish-speaking countries during Dana's distinctive three-week Discovery Term in January. They are also allowed to gain experience in real classrooms as early as their freshman year.

At graduation, you'll find that your degree will help you move to the front of the list for job openings. And a Dana degree will continue to open doors for you long after you graduate.
