Students majoring in Mathematics at Dana College are actively involved in the classroom as much as possible. Math isn't just about computing formulas and listening to lectures; it's group projects and interaction with your fellow students as well as your professor.

About half of Dana's Mathematics majors are pursuing careers in teaching. Others find careers as actuaries or in another business field.

It is recommended that you have a math ACT score of 25 or above to complete the Mathematics major.

If you are majoring in Mathematics, you will also complete a minor in another discipline of your choosing.
