Career Achievements:
I am a chemistry and applications specialist for Bio-Rad Laboratories diabetes instruments (which operates on ion-exchange HPLC). My job is to support doctor's offices, clinics and hospitals all over the United States.

How did Dana help prepare you for your career?
I had an excellent technical education from the Chemistry Department and learned many valuable techniques from the Education Department, but the Residence Life and Student Senate programs really helped me to better relate to the people around me. With this balanced background, I was able to make the transition to the work force quite smoothly.

What do remember most about your time at Dana?
I remember the movie "Full Ride" being filmed on our campus and enjoyed being an extra. But the one thing that will probably always stick in my mind is the dedication of the Cooperman Atrium and Gardner-Hawks Center my senior year, as I watched it be constructed through all four of my years at Dana. It will be a lasting symbol of the resiliance and moral strength of Dana and all of its supporters.
