Campus activities while at Dana:

What are some of your career achievements?
Besides being a high school chemistry teacher at Burke High School, I am also coaching basketball and track at the school. I'm currently in a nationally known graduate program at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, the CADRE program. It's a fast track master's for teachers. I will finish June 24, 2005 with a master's in science in secondary education.

How did Dana help prepare you for your career?
Dana set high standards and expectations. The honors program pushed me to reach my full potential and handle a tough workload. The professors were extremely knowledgeable and available if I needed help. I was not just a number but a name. I was able to be involved in many activities.

What do remember most about your time at Dana?
Life long friends!! Meeting my wonderful husband, who is also a successful Dana graduate (Cheston Field). Giving me a great education to start my "real life" job with confidence.
