Campus activities while at Dana:
Career Achievements:
I'm at Creighton University School of Medicine working toward my
M.D. While there, I have been active as class treasurer, secretary
of the
student chapter of AMWA,
a medical advocate for the YWCA and various volunteer activities.
How
did Dana help prepare you for your career or graduate school?
Dana provided a stable, caring environment where I could
develop into a strong, well rounded individual, which is
necessary
to endure the
rigors of medical
school. I came away from Dana with a strong foundation
in the sciences and a liberal
arts education, which better prepares me to care for patients.
What
do remember most about your time at Dana?
The professors at Dana were always willing to help me.
If I had a question about a lecture or an assignment,
my professors
always
had
open doors.
The professors
were always friendly and dedicated to our educations.
I also like the exposure to things/classes outside of my
majors.
I
have an
appreciation for art
and literature that I wouldn't have received at other
schools.
