How did Dana help prepare you for your career or graduate school?
My liberal arts education taught me critical thinking, problem solving and the ability to see the big picture. Although my field of employment may not seem directly related to my major, Dana prepared me for the real world and helped me to be a more well rounded individual, which, in turn, helped me to be a better employee. Because of my involvement during college in various things, I learned people skills that have been invaluable as an employer. Dana also taught me to never stop learning. I would not trade my Dana experience … It was priceless.

What do remember most about your time at Dana?
I remember and cherish so much of my time at Dana. Some of my best friends today are my Dana friends. Although I live 1,500 miles from Blair, I maintain a very consistent contact with friends and the campus. I loved the residence hall life while at Dana. I also very much enjoyed the range of things in which I could be involved. I also can't forget to mention the professors. I believe that I received an education that matched any in the country. The small classes afforded me the opportunity to actually get to know my professors. They were and are some of the best people around.
