How did Dana help prepare you for your career?
I think the small class sizes allowed for a better learning environment.
I also feel I have a more rounded education, which helps me relate
to and interact with
all types of people. Even though the science department
was small, I did not feel at a disadvantage when I started grad
school.
What do remember most about your time at Dana?
The friends I made, the LARP program and the supportive and caring
professors are some of the things I remember fondly. Some of
the best classes
I took were during Discovery Term, including the trip I took
to Spain in 1997.
It was always
hard getting up for Organic Chemistry and even harder
in the winter walking across the windy campus, but Organic Chemistry
and Dr.
Morgan
were what
made me decide
to pursue chemistry as a career.
