Career Achievements:
I received my master's in statistics at Arizona State University
in the summer of 2003. I am currently in the doctoral statistics
program at
the University of Missouri–Columbia. I have been nominated and accepted
the position of secretary for the Statistics Graduate Student Association
for the 2004–05
year.
How did Dana help prepare you for your career or graduate
school?
Dana helped me prepare for my future by giving me the necessary
background in all factes of both life and education. This
background made it
easy to adapt my knowledge to any subject of interest and
to be able to
interact with people
from any background or discipline. I have also taught statistics
for almost three
years, and by implementing the lessons I learned from watching
some of the
best professors in the nation at Dana, I have been able
to achieve perfect marks on
both student and faculty evaluations.
What do remember most
about your time at Dana?
The people. During my time at Dana I met some of the most
impressive people that I believe I will ever meet. Whether
it was on the
athletic field,
in the classroom,
or just walking around campus, I was always proud to
be around such an extraordinary cast of faculty, staff and
students.
