In 10 years, I will be…
29.

What's the coolest thing you've done since you began attending Dana?
I have decided on a major! And found the love of my life!

Why did you choose Dana?
There are lots of reasons I chose Dana College. I took a tour of the campus and really liked it. Everyone was really friendly. My tour guide said hello to everyone we passed and greeted them by name. Dana isn't a huge school where I would just be a number in the back of an auditorium. For me, Dana is just the right distance from home. It's far enough that I feel on my own, but close enough that I'm able to go home on weekends.

What's the best thing about being a student at Dana?
I like that Dana is a smaller school. It's easy to get one-on-one time with professors and you get to know a lot of other students.

What will you remember most about your time at Dana?
What I will probably remember the most are all the silly things I did with my friends.

What's the best thing about living on campus?
I live in Argo Hall. It's really nice and has the biggest residence hall rooms on campus, but it's an all-girls residence hall. (Sorry guys!) The best part about living on campus is all the friends you'll make. From having dance parties in the lounge to late-night trips to the supermarket for cookie dough, you can always find something fun to do with your neighbors!

What do you and your friends enjoy doing?
My friends and I do lots of different things. We do normal stuff, like watch movies or go out. Omaha is only 20 minutes away. It's nice to be near a big city. There are all sorts of fun things to do there. One of our favorites is to go to Perkins at 1 or 2 in the morning. We do other stuff, too, like camp out by the river and snowboard down Dana's hills.

What college class has been the most fun for you and why?
So far, I think Creative Writing has been my favorite. In the midst of all the serious five- to 10-page papers for my other courses, that class reminded me that it was fun to write.
