Why did you choose to come to Dana?

I transferred to Dana because the classes transferred from my other college very easily. I wanted a small school that would allow me to have a lot of attention from each of my professors.

What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years?
I hope to be teaching chemistry in a high school and coaching basketball. I hope to be making a positive impact on the students I encounter during my job.

What has been your favorite class?
Environmental Chemistry was my favorite class. It was a Discovery Term class that included a lot of discussion about current environmental issues and how chemistry was involved in each one.

What "real world" experience have you gotten from Dana?
I worked at OPPD in Nebraska City in the chemistry lab for one summer. It was interesting to see how the lab was run and the automated instruments they had.

What's the best thing about being a student at Dana?
I enjoy being a student at Dana because I know all of my professors very well and feel very comfortable getting help from and talking with any of them. Also the campus is close-knit and students know each other.
