In 10 years, I will be…

A third grade teacher. I also plan to have my master's degree in educational leadership so I can be an assistant principal or principal someday.

What's the coolest thing you've done since you began attending Dana?
The coolest thing I've done is become a cross country runner (for the first time) and was named Most Improved Runner for the season (2001).

Why did you choose Dana?
I like the small atmosphere, and it's very friendly. Everyone made me feel at home, and I like the relationship you have with the professors. You're not just a number.

What's the best thing about being a student at Dana?
Being an education major, I am guaranteed a job after graduation.

What will you remember most about your time at Dana?
That you have to realize that you're on your own and that becoming responsible is a very big part of life. Also, the fact that you DON'T always have money, so you have to improvise and sacrifice.

What's the best thing about living on campus?
I live in Blair Hall, and I like how you have the opportunity to know what's going on on campus.

What do you and your friends enjoy doing?
We enjoy hanging out, watching movies and going out (when we can afford it).

What college class has been the most fun for you and why?
My favorite college class was P.E. for Elementary Grades because we played games like we were in elementary school again. It also gave me a chance to get different ideas about physical education to use when I begin teaching.
