Activities:
I am a member of the Morton Scholars Honors Program here on campus, and since I have come to school I have become the team manager for the Dana Softball team. I have also started the Psychologically Speaking Club up again.

In 10 years, I will be…

I would really like to be somewhere just starting my family and have my career up and running. I would like to be a psychologist with my clinic.

What's the coolest thing you've done since you began attending Dana?
I think there are too many things to choose from, but I would have to say joining the softball team has been exciting and memorable. Those girls are so much fun, and the coaches make it seem like family!

Why did you choose Dana?
I came to Dana because it was just close enough to home, but far enough away so that my parents wouldn't expect me home all the time. I also came here because I was able to get a fair amount of financial aid.

What will you remember most about your time at Dana?
The Jell-o Wrestling BAHM night, the crazy closet contest, The Dating Game, and Senora Brown's crazy teaching methods! I will also remember the softball conversations no one will ever understand but us!

What's the best thing about living on campus?
Being around my friends all the time, not having to get up real early for class, I can wake up and roll out of bed and be in class in five minutes.

What do you and your friends enjoy doing?
We like to hang out on the weekends, but during the weeknights, we are known for late night ice cream runs to No Frills.

What college class has been the most fun for you and why?
I think I would have to say Forensic Psychology because it was interesting to learn about the criminal mastermind.

What kinds of real world experiences have you gotten through Dana?
I have not had the chance for an internship, but, I do volunteer at the Omaha Children's Museum during my summers. I get to interact with the developing child's mind, and they are extremely fun to be around when they start to put things together when you are teaching and interacting with them.

What the best thing about being a student at Dana?
I like the one-on-one time with my professors. I have a name here at Dana. I am not just a number in a class. The professors truly care about their work and are always willing to help you.
