In 10 years, I will be…
In 10 years, I hope to be in a very successful career in the field of business; I'm not sure what that job is yet.

What's the coolest thing you've done since you began attending Dana?
The best thing that I have done since coming to Dana would definitely be meeting so many different people and making so many different friends.

Why did you choose Dana?
I chose to come to Dana because I came from such a small town (population 70) that I was not ready for a huge campus with a lot of people. Dana is small and has the atmosphere of everyone knowing everyone, and I like the one-on-one attention from the professors when you are needing help.

What will you remember most about your time at Dana?
I will remember all of the different people I have met along the way who have helped to shape me into the person I am today. I will also remember all of my professors who pushed me to do the best I could in all of my classes.

What's the best thing about living on campus?
The best thing about living on campus is being able to be directly involved in everything that's happening. Everything is so close, and it makes it so easy to be able to know what's going on and get involved in different activities.

What do you and your friends enjoy doing?
My friends and I enjoy hanging out around the residence halls watching movies, as well as making late-night trips to No Frills for no real reason … just to go for a drive and do something …

What college class has been the most fun for you and why?
So far here at Dana, my favorite classes have been Modern Latin America and Consumer Chemistry. I really enjoyed Modern Latin America with Dr. Brewer because he was very interesting to listen to and made learning about Latin America very interesting and fun. I also enjoyed Consumer Chemistry with Dr. Michels because she put a spin on chemistry, showing the class how science really does relate to everyday life … even things that we would never think of chemistry really being involved in.

What kinds of real world experience have you gotten through Dana?
Last summer, I worked for the NAFCO credit union in Grand Island, Nebraska, where I was a teller and worked the front desk. I really enjoyed this position, as I was the main person dealing with customers and had many responsibilities that helped to show me my strengths and weaknesses in dealing with the public in the banking system.
